We now have the Rolls Royce of security fences and, we are extremely pleased that we selected you as our contractor. We have been very fortunate that our entire project has only involved top rate contractors and it makes life so much easier when one only has to deal with professionals and experts in their field.
We have decided to bite the bullet and open for business at Easter, as this is always Taupo's busiest time of year. We will be having an official opening sometime later in April or early May. We hope that you and Dale will be able to come.

Spring Hill Corrections Facility (Prison)
Barakat Contractors Ltd. were awarded three separate work packages during the construction of the Spring Hill Corrections Facility, Hampton downs Road, Meremere. Their scope included installation of the prison wall power fence and farm fencing.
Barakat’s performance was very professional, workmanship of the highest quality within a safe environment. They have been a pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to engage them again on future projects or recommend them for any future projects they wish to undertake.

Spring Hill Correction Facility
Genesis Energy
Genesis Energy have been using the services of Barakat Contractors Ltd. for the last 3 to 4 years. They have recently completed a large project at the Huntly Power Station. This project involved approximately 4 km of electric fencing.
The job was completed on time and to cost. We are pleased with the finished job, which is of a high standard.

Hamilton Zoo
Barakat Contractors Ltd carried out a measure and value contract for the provision of a new perimeter fence at Hamilton Zoo from March-July 2008.
The objectives of this project were to construct 2.2 kms of twin element fencing: External 1.8m high chain link fence, with rabbit control netting and weed control measures, plus Internal, 2.4m high alarmed and electrified security fence, associated ducting, cabling and controller sheds, 4 new perimeter gates and minor alterations to existing animal raceway fences.
The project was completed on time and on budget by Barakat Contractors.
Barakat Contractors performed extremely well, were extremely accommodating and flexible and communicated any potential problems in a timely fashion so that they could be resolved without dispute. The design of the gate latches was considered too complicated by the contractors and so they devised a simple alternative that works well. There were no health and safety or quality control issues and the contractor was always able to work around temporary restrictions on access to parts of the fence due to animal husbandry requirements through working over as much of the site as possible (enabling work to continue elsewhere if required).
Barakat Contractors established a good working relationship with the Zoo staff. Their resultant total acceptance of his staff and vehicles on site that enabled both staff and contractors to go about their daily routine without any friction.
